One Down! One To Go!

That's the bird we had for Thanksgiving. It's now part of history...our household's history anyway. I wasn't able to take a picture of it before the husband carved it so this is all I can post....poor bird.

Our Thanksgiving went well. It's just the three of us but that didn't stop the little one to be excited about it. She helped put everything together. She helped in baking the pie and the brownies then helped in setting the table as well. But that's not all she wanted to do. She wanted to give a 'thanksgiving speech' before we started eating....so she did. No picture taking for us because we were not picture ready, so to speak.

Now that turkey day is over, we can start preparing for another big day...Christmas. Guess who is excited about it here in our household? Let me give you a clue. She has a list that has about 20 items in it already which by the way includes diamonds which she said is for me. Me? Diamonds? Ha! I wonder if Santa will actually grant that since it's kind of 'piggy-backing'. Who knows? Maybe he would, eh?

Anyway, her list getting longer by the day so I already asked her to put it in an envelope so I can 'mail' already. Maybe I should start writing Santa myself, eh?

Belated happy TD, Jules.
There were just the three of us too. I didn't feel like inviting anybody dahil tamad maglinis ng bahay! lol
Since hubby doesn't eat turkey, I bought ham and turkey legs...hay, 3 days ng inuubos ang leftovers. ;)

I'm drooling here. They had turkey in the buffet spread at the resto that we went to, but I didn't care for it, kasi hindi appealing ang dating nung turkey nila sa akin. how big was your bird? kasi when I roasted for the first time, it was 10 lbs yata and being that it was just the 2 of us I had to scramble to make use of the leftover in soup and sandwich.

hala E is really wise ha, ang aga niyang gumawa ng list. that gives Santa enough time to prepare hahaha.post mo nga listahan niya, malay mo may mga Santa pa diyan sa tabi-tabi hehehe.

have a great Sabado night!

Yummy! I could only imagine the aroma of the newly roasted turkey. Ubos na? he he..

E is really smart. Giving Santa enough time to save for her long wish list. No reason for Mom and Dad not to prepare for Christmas because of the excited li'l lady. Dito wala. I don’t have the urge to decorate for Xmas. We’re planning to spend Xmas somewhere for a change.
