Monday Morning Post...and a Tag!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another week, another tag...ha! Weekend went by fast around here. Today is a national holiday but the husband is at work. They have some things to finish at work so they decided to come in today even if it's a holiday. Actually, they make their own holidays since they can choose their hours. I'm not complaining though since we've been together the whole weekend so today is just another work day.
As for me...I got a bit busy during the weekend because work came in late Friday evening. I didn't start working until Saturday morning though because the software for work is not working in the new computer. We figured it out Saturday morning so I spent the rest of the weekend keying...working.
Work is gone now so here I am blogging again. Umma passed this tag on to me...thanks Mommy! I'm not sure I can list 10 things that I have not listed here yet in the past but I'll try.
Here we go....Honest Scrap!
Honest Scrap Award Rules
When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real.
Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog.” Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!
10 Things about me..
1) I only have 8 pairs of shoes [2 - sandals, 3 - black shoes, a pair of running shoes, a pair of boots [?] and a pair slip-ons...and yes, I'm a woman. LOL....I just don't see why I would buy more than I need. I've only worn 5 of the pairs one time each.
2) I only have 2 bags....1 cross body and 1 hand bag...no shoulder bag, eh? I used to have a lot of bags when I was teaching but I gave them all away when I moved here. I am more of a wallet person actually. Oh and I have a back pack which I brought all the way from Taiwan. It used to be my travel bag.
3) I never thought I would ever get married. Not in my agenda actually....
4) My husband is my personal stylist....wardrobe stylist that is. If it were up to me, I'd be in shirt and shorts all the time.
5) I want to have a house in the Philippines someday. Our own house and not a relative's house.
6) I can stay in the house for months at a time.
7) I easily get hooked on something but I can shake it off as easily.
8) It's been 25 years [this year] since I graduated from high school...can you say O-L-D me?
9) My nickname in high school was Lola or Matua [old] partly because of my long hair. My high school classmates [and some teachers and school mates] still call me that...and I don't mind. It's like an endearment more than anything.
10) I want to retire in the Philippines...so does the husband actually. Hopefully that will happen.
That's it. Nothing interesting, eh? Please grab it if you want to and let me know when you're done so I can take a peek....
You're a true blue homebody pala, J! And you can stay at home for months at a time?!! That would be a difficult task for me. he he..
Gusto ko din sana, wallet lang dala. But that would be very easy for the snatchers to grab. Alam mo naman dito..
Btw, have you stayed in BF Homes?
Were Rustom and Carmina your village neighbor? 'La lang. Nanghihinayang lang ako kay Rustom!
He looks ridiculous! Hayyy..
Hope your weekend is fine too!
Hhhmmmm, now I got to know you more Mommy J!
Ako din, I can stay at home for months at a time, I don't mind at all.
Oh yes, Dana and I want to retire in the Philippines too, and it's our plan to move back there 10-15 years from now. It's our "home sweet home" dream!
Thanks for the visit and the comment about Daniel. Have a great night!
wow! di naman ako ganyan ka-homebody! di ko kaya tumagal ng one month sa house lang!:)
ako naman, ako personal stylist ng hubby ko. I tell him what shoes to pair with his pants, or what color goes with this color.
pareho tayo, konti lang shoes ko!!! pag comfy kasi ako sa isa, i have a tendency to use it always! hanggang masira, hehehe!
I got to know you because of this!
Take care!
