I always think that I don’t really need something until it’s a day too late. This is also one reason why I find it hard to buy a gift for someone. I feel like I’m never going to get that perfect gift for a friend or a loved one. So I am one of the many who either give a gift card or cash for gifts. I even gave the husband a gift card one time. Romantic! Not! But that was the first and the last time I did that. It’s getting harder as the years go by what to get him though. I may just get a little edgy and buy him a Diezel underwear in the future. We have been playing it safe the last few years by asking each other what we want when there’s an upcoming occasion. It’s always nice to talk to my family since it’s very rare that I get to do that. The reception in their area is so bad that even if I want to call them often, it’s just a pain so I just call when I really have to. Anyway, my brother’s birthday is so close to Christmas that I usually have a hard time deciding on gifts to give him. Aside from that, I would usually wonder if I would just give him a 2-in 1 gift. Now that I am thousands of miles away from my family, it's even harder. I don't have any ideas first hand on what he's into right now. She’s usually the first to call me on my birthday but because of our move, she got confused about the phone number. Anyway, she finally got it right 3 days after my birthday so she called and greeted me. But her reason for calling was not only to greet me on my birthday. She had some really great news to share…she’s expecting her third child! I was so happy to learn about it. She and her husband are my childhood friends. We went to the same grade school and high school so we have gone through a lot of things together. This baby is more like a surprise to them because their youngest is already 7 years old and they had no plans of having another one. Just the same, they’re very happy about it. Anyway, in one of my searches I came across this site called Jewelry Elegance. Tthey have men's jewelry …bunches of them actually. My husband is not big on jewelry but I may have found something for him. This one! Yes, it’s a keychain. A very nice one at that. I just realized while I was looking the different jewelry on this site that my husband doesn't have one like this. So I may just get it for him. For now....I can say that: Mission Accomplished!
