A few days after my birthday, a good friend from out of state gave me a call. She wanted to greet me a happy belated birthday. She’s usually the first to call me on my birthday but because of our move, she got confused about the phone number. Anyway, she finally got it right 3 days after my birthday so she called and greeted me. But her reason for calling was not only to greet me on my birthday. She had some really great news to share…she’s expecting her third child! I was so happy to learn about it. She and her husband are my childhood friends. We went to the same grade school and high school so we have gone through a lot of things together. This baby is more like a surprise to them because their youngest is already 7 years old and they had no plans of having another one. Just the same, they’re very happy about it.

Since Christmas is just around the corner, I have been thinking of the perfect gift I can give them. What could be more perfect than the Cryo-Cell gift certificate? L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Lucky 13

We survived the 13-year mark of our union! Yay! LOL... It will be 13 years this weekend since that picture of us holding hands was taken. We took it ourselves to signify the start of our life together. A lot has changed since that day. For one, there is now a third hand that we both hold tight...that of our little one. Also, those 2 hands have more wrinkles now and the rings, well, they've seen better days. But we're still wearing those same old rings up to this day. Mine are exactly the same while that of the husband had to be re-sized because it 'shrunk'. I guess that's what 13 years does to a ring....it shrinks! Or does it? Hmmm.... Anyway, it's been a great 13 years that 'spawned' [hehe] a great human being. Some days are harder than the others but there are definitely more 'good' days than bad ones.
