~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's what the statistic page in my Teacher's Corner blog showed anyway. How many exactly? How about 1,865 ? How did that happen? I honestly have no idea. It's not the first time I've seen that kind of stat in that blog and I'm just left baffled as to who would visit my blog. Look! ETA: I am not actually convinced that Teacher's Corner gets that many visitors...seriously. I mean...there's just no way I'll get more than a thousand hit in that blog.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My 'house' online anyway...this blog. After gazillion years, I've finally had the guts to go through the BLOG List I have in this blog. I actually started yesterday morning but I had to stop because work came in. One observation: I can't believe the number of blogs that don't link back . These are the ones that CAME here asking for a link exchange and not the other way around. Now, I am also guilty of not linking back...BUT...I don't go around asking for ' link exchange ' and then leaving it at that without linking back. Actually, I rarely ask for a 'link exchange' anymore simply because I am way too busy to even visit the ones I have in my list. Anyway, I'm just ranting here. I'm not done cleaning 'house' yet. I still have a long way to go actually. I am also in a dilemma on what to do with ' inactive blogs ' in my list. You know, those blogs that have not been updated since 2008 [even earlie...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After months of sporting the same "do" [aka "template"], PinayWAHM has a new 'do'...finally!!! The 'renovation' started yesterday and is now complete. Fast, eh? Thanks much to one hot Mama, Cathy of My Design Workbench , Pinay WAHM now has a brand new look. I've actually been wanting to change the template for quite sometime already but since I've been busy, as in B-U-S-Y, I just couldn't find the time. Besides, I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to changing templates. This is just my third one I believe. The first one was a blogger template. When I got tired of it, I decided to change it myself. Big mistake....I lost almost everything. I had to virtually start from scratch... so I decided not to mess with it again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yep, still around. Work is still busy but we got an unplanned break from it. Guess why...anyone?? This is because the main office of the company I work [the one with work anyway] is in Houston, Texas....and that's where hurricane Ike decided to go instead of here. I guess there's really no escaping Ike for me, eh? As early as Wednesday evening, I think, our boss already warned us that our servers may be down this weekend because of this hurricane and she was right. I was able to work some last night before going to bed but when I logged on this morning, it's already down. So how did I spend my 'suddenly' free Saturday? By doing some pending tasks I've been putting off in the last week or so. Right now, I only have a couple left and I'm planning in finishing them up tonight. So yes, I still 'worked' somehow. My schedule though is not as 'hectic'. I'm trying to catch up on some blogs also. I just wish I can visit...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And no, it's was not 'flagged' by anyone. I FLAGGED it MYSELF!!! Duh me, eh???? Well, it's actually more like an accident. Yesterday while I was browsing online, I clicked on the URL box. I was looking for a site I visited earlier. In doing so, I clicked the "Flag Blog" button up top my blog. Before I knew it, the flag on the blog was red!! I knew what I did but I didn't know if I caused any damage or not. So I clicked 'unflag blog' and red flag went away. So I went my happy way reading but when I refreshed the page of my blog, the RED flag was back again. Sigh. So I read the FAQs. I was looking for a contact email but I can't find one. It seems that I didn't do my blog any damage but I was still uneasy seeing the RED flag. Anyway, since I didn't find any contact email for help I just turned off my laptop hoping for the best. I was expecting that when I get back online to check my blog, I would get a messag...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...and no, I am not talking about " Public Relations " or " Public R estrooms ". I am talking about "that" PR ...and if you're a blogger you know what I'm talking about! I'm talking about this ONE!! So many things have been written err..blogged about this famous [infamous?] PR. We all have our own take on it. A lot of people tried to dissect, understand, analyze or just plain explain it. We all want to have the very elusive PR...but what does it take to get it? Obviously, it's not grammar...har har har. Is it content? Maybe? But content is not everything. So what do we need to do to get, at least a PR1??? Honestly, I have no clue! BUT I know from experience that the following don't really have that much of an impact to MY Blogs getting a PR. Again, this is only based on my PERSONAL blogging experience..and this is ONLY for PR [not Alexa or Technorati or Yahoo or any other that I don't know about]. * Rem...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hmm...not sure if it's me or my lappy or something else but is triple P's server down? I've been trying to access it but it's not loading. Earlier, it's server cannot be found. Now, the error: Domain Name Mismatch is coming up. What is that? Has there been a change while I was offline yesterday? But it was working fine this afternoon. Does anybody know the real deal here? I know of someone who couldn't access the site either so it may not be me after all....but who knows. I'm going to bed...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am not sure what I did or doing but I am happy, very happy that I did/still doing it because I keep getting surprises from one S-P-E-C-I-A-L MoM.... Mommy Ruby of PinayMommyOnline . First she made this really cute blog banner that I use for my Entrecard. She just made it out of the blue. And for someone like me who is an 'ignoramus' when it comes to digi-scrapping or anything that has to do with art for that matter, this is such a big thing. Today, she pulled another one on me. She made me this Mother's Day Card. Like I already said, I don't know what I did to deserve such an acknowledgment from her but I'm glad I did it [& still doing it I hope]. So to Mommy Ruby ....thanks from the bottom of all bottoms [pwede din bottoms up..LOL]. Seriously, thank you so much for what you've been doing for me. It's truly appreciated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm just curious as to where some bloggers got the idea that having a tag board can actually affect the blog's PR. Really??? This is just an observation and I don't mean to offend anyone BUT how are they related? Is it because of the infamous backlinks that are needed when we leave comments instead of a tag/message in a tag board? Anyway, this blog had its ups and downs. Its PR keeps changing. It had a PR3, then PR0 and now PR2, I think. But one thing that didn't change here...the tag board has always been there. I never removed it. Most of my visitors leave their message there...and that's fine by me. My tag board is also my point of reference sometimes as to who I should visit if I am extremely busy like right now. So if anyone can explain to me as to how PR and tag boards are related, I would appreciate it. Just for the record, I've seen blogs with PR7 and they DO HAVE a cbox in their site...so it must not be the PR, right?
