~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any plans for the weekend? We don't have any, of course. Well, we do. It's not a big plan but if it happens, it's going to be something that I don't do a lot. What is it? Secret for now. It's not something life altering but something will definitely be 'altered'. LOL. Aside from this 'secret', we may also go look around some furniture stores. Yep, we're still looking for some pieces for the house even more than 2 years of being here. What can I say, we take our sweet time choosing and deciding. Who's in a hurry anyway? Everytime we go around looking for something for the house, one of the things I always consider is the functionality & versatility of whatever it is we're hunting for. It's no different with a coffee table. It's been a few months now since we started for a new coffee table but we haven't found "the one" yet. There are a lot of choices out there and I think that...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Florida is known as the Sunshine State for obvious reasons. Lately though, that nickname doesn’t seem to apply where we’re at right now. It’s been raining a lot and the sun is not ‘shining’ down on us much. As a result, our back patio is always wet…including whatever is out there. So the husband has been looking at patio furniture covers because of all this rain. We only have a couple of patio furniture but it wouldn’t be long before we give in to the temptation of buying a full patio set. It’s only a matter of time. I can feel it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It’s now part of our weekend to visit the site where our new house is being built…it’s getting there…woo hoo. Most of the time we just sit in the backyard using some hollow blocks since there’s no chairs or benches there yet. It’s very quiet and calming just sitting around in the backyard. Once we’re moved, we will buy Adirondack Chairs that we can use so everytime the weather is nice we can just stay out in the backyard and relax...just like this one. I cannot wait for that day to come. I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of time in our backyard.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yesterday we went to visit our new house. We needed to choose some floor patterns so they can start installing the flooring this week. While we were there, we started talking about the appliances and the pieces furniture that we will put in the house. It was a bit hard to do that so I told my husband that we need a furniture catalog so we can come up with the appropriate pieces of furniture since we have pictures to look at while deciding. So next weekend we are going back there armed with a furniture catalog. Hopefully, we will be able to choose all the pieces we want.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of the things we love about our new place is the quietness of the community. We talked to our neighbors there and that’s one of the things they also like there. So it’s our plan to stay a lot outside once we’re moved. We have shady trees in the backyard so it’s going to be very convenient to hang out there. Now I am looking for some good backyard furniture online. One type of furniture I am coming across with that’s good for outdoor are iron wrought furniture. Contract Furniture provides wrought iron food court seating in different shapes and sizes. I have been browsing in their site and they have a lot of really nice looking wrought iron furniture. I’m sure I’ll find something that will look great in our backyard.
