Blackberry Case for Father's Day!

Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Father’s day is in a couple of weeks already. We haven’t decided yet what to get big Daddy here. I have no idea right now what to get him. His razor broke a few days ago. It would have been a great gift for Father’s Day but…he got himself a new one already. So shaver is now out of the very limited choices we have. My next choice would be a Blackberry case which he doesn’t really need now because the case he has now still looks new but it wouldn’t hurt to have a spare, right? Aside from Dad's gift, I am also looking for an iPod leather case for the little one’s iPod. The case that came with it is black. Her favorite color is NOT black so she’s been asking for either a pink one or a purple one. We looked around in the stores around here but they don't have those colors available. And if you can’t find it in the stores, where do you go? Online of course and look what I found… Yep, a pink case for the little one’s iPod. Cool, eh? Now all I have t...
Happy Father's Day!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To all the fathers and grandfathers out there, I hope you enjoy the day doing whatever makes you happy...with Mom's permission of course...LOL! Kidding! Our "Big Daddy" here has been suffering from headache/migraine as a result of the long driving he did last Friday...from here to Georgia and back! So his Father's Day started a bit later as we let him sleep in. The little one was really anxious to greet her Dad happy Father's Day that she kept waking up...and waking me up. I had to tell her that Dad's migraine is bugging him so we have to wait a bit longer. She understood and waited patiently. As soon as Dad got out of the bedroom, she just burst into her "Happy Father's Day" routine. Here are the things she had ready for Dad. A handmade card! Her personalized 'scrapbook'. Her "I heart Daddy" frame...with her scribbles, of course. And here are my Pride and Joy! That's how our FD 2008 sta...

Our Day...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...went by fast. We moved some stuff...the boxes I had sitting on the kitchen floor. So I can now see some parts of the kitchen floor here. After hanging around the house, we went to the furniture store that the husband visited last week. That's what he does. He would go to stores if he's not too busy and look around. Last Wednesday, I think, he went to this furniture store near his work. The store sells Broyhill, Bassett, and some other furniture brands that I can't recall right now. He saw a dining set and a living room set he likes. He told the lady assisting him that he would have to bring me down there to get my approval. Well, the lady was not very happy with that because she wanted to make the sale right there and then. Why? Because she was going on a vacation and was afraid that she won't be there when we come back for a visit. So she told the husband that and asked him if he could wait until she comes back from her break......
Daddy's Corner Part II...
Image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This will be my second post about Father's Day! My first one was part of the Tag: Daddy's Corner and it was for the husband A.K.A. the Father of my Little One. This time it's for My father! This is my Father! - He's the man who so patiently taught me how to commute to my college by staying with me during the first few weeks of my college life in Manila. - He's the man who visited me in my dorm at least once a week for 4 years...without fail! - He's the man who made me believe that I can do it even I didn't think I could. - He's the man who I look up to even if he's not perfect. He is my father, the man who I still miss everyday eversince he left us in 2000. Happy Father's Day, Tang! Love, Na^

Weekend Dilemma

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yep, I am in some kind of dilemma at the moment. Why you may ask? I have a few days to get something for the Big Daddy of the house. I still have not decided what to get him for the big day on Sunday. I have a few choices right now. One is a Zero Halliburton briefcase which may come in handy because he may have to travel more often for business purposes so he's going to need one that he can take with him. My other choice is a replacement for his sunglasses that I got during our very first Christmas together...so he's had the pair for about 7 years now! So if you were me, which would you get him? A briefcase or a new pair of sunglasses? Hmmm...right now, I am leaning more on the briefcase as it's something he really needs. But whatever I decide on getting him, I'll be sure to blog about it the day after the Father's Day.
