As the year 2007 comes to an end, I can’t help but think of all the good things that happened to me. Yes, the good things. There are bad things as well but what good will it do if I keep thinking about the bad things. I want to dwell on the good instead of the bad. So let me start with one that not only gives me personal and intellectual satisfaction but also some financial gains. It is this year that I discovered about blog advertising . I have been reading blogs since the early part of the year but it’s only mid year that I contemplated in starting my own. For those of you who still don't know what Sponsored Reviews is, it's a place where bloggers, like me, go to bid on advertisements. They have a lot, and I mean A LOT, of advertisements in their site that one can choose from. If the advertiser like what they see in your blog, they will then ask you to write your review about their products or services. This is probably one of the things I like best about SR, the chance of choosing whatever tickles my fancy. Another thing I like about Sponsored Reviews is their payment system. No waiting for a month to get paid. Once you finish the review and is submitted to them, the payment is already reflected in your paymen details. Where I live in America, driving is a necessity. Yes, it is. There is no subway like New York or trains like in some other states. There are only buses but they are so far from where I am, I will need a car to drive me to the bus stop. So I cannot go anywhere unless I know how to drive or I have someone to drive me. If I need to go somewhere, I have to schedule it around my husband’s work schedule. So I was worried that because of my inability to drive, I will not be able to make a living to help with our financial needs. Well guess what? That is no longer a problem for me.
