Why not when there are a lot of very good attractions in what is known as the sin city, right? Things to do in Las Vegas will never run out. I know as I’ve been there myself. I am what others like to call ‘homebody’. This means that I don’t really go out especially not at night. So going to Las Vegas is kinda’ wild for me, you know. No I did not let loose. I just went around the whole strip and tried my hands on the slot machines. I’ve never seen so many lights in my life. My husband though does not have any plans of visiting this city anytime soon. He would rather we go on sightseeing tours as a family. Right now, our little one really wants to see the Golden Bridge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While packing some of our stuff for the move, I came across some photos of my husband on a vacation. So I asked him where those pictures were taken. He said that they were taken in North Carolina and some were taken in Los Angeles. He said that he was in Los Angeles in June of 1999. Well guess what? I was in Los Angeles during that time. It turned out we were taking a vacation in the same location at the same time. Of course we didn’t meet then as we met a year and a half later but I think that’s just cool because we were probably roaming around the same places at the same time. The longest one was a trip to California but it was not for vacation purposes but to attend a friend’s wedding. That’s not my first trip to California though. My first trip to the US was a trip straight to Los Angeles in the Spring of 1999. I have friends there so when I decided to visit US for the first time, Los Angeles was the first place that came to mind. Aside from all the things to do in Las Vegas , a couple of crazy things happened to me there. One happened on the first day of our trip and the second one happened on the last day of our trip. The first one was an encounter with a taxi driver who got so angry at us for sneaking in an extra passenger. He said that he could lose his license because of that so he was cursing and yelling at us all the way to our hotel. I thought he would kick us out of his taxi before we could even reach the hotel. The other crazy thing that happened to us was a fairly strong earthquake on our last day there. We were getting ready to go down to check out when it happened. It was scary because we could feel the shake so much because our room was on the top most floor of the hotel. I seriously thought we would never make it alive out of that hotel. ============================================ Being from another country, I always wanted to go on sightseeing tours here in America. But before I had the chance on doing that I got pregnant with our little girl. We’ve been on tours but only locally. We are in Florida so I really want to go on Orlando tours . So we planned on going first to Disney World. We did but the trip going there made us realize that next time we go on a tour, we would look for places like Trusted Tours. Why? Because the trip would probably have been a lot easier and less stressful. What happened was my husband who would normally print out a map on long trips like that did not do it that time. It’s understandable because it’s only a 2-hour drive from our place to Disney World in Orlando. Well, that 2 hour trip became a 4 hour trip because we couldn’t find Disney World .
