Now that our humble abode is about to be finished, I can say that I am starting to breathe a little better. I am not taking that sigh of relief yet as we have still do the closing but I am positive that it's going to happen really soon.

Anyway, I got this email from a friend about a week ago on the:

After seeing these houses, I can't help but think that our little home will probably fit in one of the rooms in one of these houses...LOL. But I'm fine with that. If and when we win the lotto big time, I will make sure to buy one of these houses...Not!

Without going to the list, can you guess which celebrities actually own these humongous houses?? Of course you can...Bill Gates, Oprah...need I say more? How about the Trump?? LOL.....

Remember me writing in one of my entries about a rumor that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be expecting twins? Well, as it turns out it's not a rumor after all. Angelina Jolie just confirmed that they are, indeed, having twins.

She actually gave an interview to the Today show saying that they're having twins but before it got the chance to be aired, Jack Black somehow made Angelina 'confirm' the long-running rumor that she's carrying 2 babies. Jack Black joked that after having the babies, they will now have their own Brady Bunch. Actually now they will have 3 of each...ya know, 3 biological kids and 3 adopted ones.

Just thought I'd write it in here since I posted something about it a while ago.

This is an email I got from a friend just now. I don't really get to watch Dancing with the Stars so I didn't even know about these 2 amazing Filipino-American kids.

Anyway, they will be in DWTS tomorrow - Wednesday, May 13, 2008. They are one of the 3 pairs competing and the result will be based solely on VIEWERS Votes.

I would like to inform you of the recent accomplishments of a young Fil-Am Ballroom couple, Jaryd Tyler Farcon and Cara Abaya-Campos... I would also like to ask for your support as they proudly represent the Philippines as a rising amateur ballroom couple.

Jaryd, who is 10 years old, is the son of Drs. Cayetano & Armie Farcon of Princeton , NJ .

Cara is 8 years old and is the daughter of Walden & Irene Campos of Nutley , NJ .

They have been dancing together competitively for the past 14 months under the direction and coaching of Spencer Nyemchek and have already captured the 2007 United States National Title in International Latin in the Preteen Age division.

Jaryd & Cara have been featured twice on the Maury Show and won the Maury’s Most Talented Kids contest and also appeared on NBC’s TODAY show last December 2007. Their most recent appearance was on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars on April 15, 2008, where they captured the 10 year old and under category and are scheduled to dance next week on May 13, 2008 in the Finals of the Junior segment of Dancing with the Stars. They are 1 of 3 couples competing for the Championship Title. Next weeks show results are based solely on viewer votes.

This dynamic pair has been very busy making public appearances and showcasing at various fundraising events and cultural gatherings. They are scheduled to perform at the Phil-US Expo ‘08 on May 17-18 and at the Philippine Independence Day Cultural Show in NYC on June 1.

Well, who doesn't know Mariah Carey? She's this very famous singer. I like her music and a lot of her songs are some of my all time favorites.

But whothe heck is Nick Cannon? Well he is an actor, a singer, a rapper, a producer, etc, etc. He is probably best known in the movie "Drumline". Or as the guy who had this super elaborate proposal in Times Square in the Big Apple to his girlfriend of a few months...only to break up after a few more months.

Now, these two are married? What the.....? I keep coming across this news so I thought I'd write about it. Why? Just because...LOL.

I am actually stumped as to why these celebrities get engaged and get married after knowing each other for a few days.

Oh well..let's just wish them the best. I hope they last longer than a lot of people are predicting them to last.

Amy Winehouse is the English singer who has this beehive kind of hairdo that some kids are copying! I keep seeing her pictures everywhere online so I thought I'd list down the positive vs. negative things I've read about her so far in an attempt to find out why a lot of people are fascinated with her and while some kids are idolizing her.

Let's start with the positive...

- She just won 5 Grammy awards.

-->> Ummm....that's all???

Let's list the negative...[mostly based on the news]

- She has alcohol problems
- She has drug problems
- She's self destructive
- Her husband is in jail.
- She was just arrested for suspicion of assault [allegedly]
- She was photographed drinking what looked like tequila shot with her left hand while holding a toddler with her right one.

Okay....I know these are just based on the tabloids news. But if you look at her pictures on the news, you can't help but kind of believe these negative news about her.

Right now, I am happy for only one thing. That my little girl is way too young to even care about celebrities. That's it.

Celebrity Edition. I posted yesterday about the possible twins that Angelina Jolie is having in the very near future. As I was browsing through the online entertainment magazines, I came across a picture of the latest twins by a celebrity...Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony's twins. They are in the cover of the latest People's Magazine. Yes, those are some cute little babies but did you know how much they're saying that 'coveted' pictorial cost People's Magazine?? Any guesses?? Yep, it's in the millions....$6 Million!!! Yes..that's a 6 followed by six zeros and a dollar sign before that 6!

Those kids are not even a month old and they already made more than I will probably make in my lifetime - well, before I hit the big lotto jackpot of course. Seriously though, that's a lot of dough if that's true that they're getting that much.

Nope, not for me but for the high-profile couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Remember my post here about her pregnancy? I mentioned that there's a rumor that she may be having twins this time...making their brood an even six.

Anyway, it's now on this entertainment tabloid [yeah, not very reliable] InTouch Weekly that she may just be having twins - a boy and a girl - just like another high profile mother Jennifer Lopez who gave birth to her twins - Max and Emmne.

Hmm...it seems like everyone in Hollywood is not only having babies but twins at that. I wish I had twins myself. At least it's 2 in a pack...LOL. Seriously, we somehow hoped for twins because it runs in my family. Oh well....our little one is more than enough for us now.

I enjoy music a lot. I don’t have any favorite genre thought because I seem to like them all, well aside from heavy metal. I can tolerate a few of them but not most of them. I grew up with the late 70s and 80s music playing on the radio so my siblings and I like folk and country songs and pop songs. But their kids like the ‘in’ music of today such as rap. I can listen to rap but those kids seem to be listening to it day in day out. Each of them has a favorite rap artist. So I am glad I came across this website called Rap Artists. It’s a site where everything and anything about rap music – songs, singers/rappers, lyrics, albums, etc – can be found. My siblings’ kids would definitely love this site.

Patrick Swayze....

...was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. For those who do not know him [where have you been?] he starred in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost". Those are just two of his more famous movies. He did a lot of movies aside from those two and have been in broadway shows as well.

The National Enquirer first broke the news but erroneously reported that he only had weeks to live according to his doctor. Here's what his doctor had to say to People.com.

"Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," Dr. George Fisher says in a statement. "All of the reports stating the time frame of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic."

Matt Damon Vs. Ben Affleck

Not too long ago, Matt Damon made a video with comedienne Sarah Silverman. It's supposed to be a surprise for Jimmy Kimmel [who's dating the comedienne] on his birthday but got pushed back because of the writers' strike. Anyway, the video was kind of racy but funny I should say so I am not posting it here as I try to make this blog GP. If you want to see it, just go here.

As a retaliation, Jimmy Kimmel announced that he was preparing a video as well...and now it's done. Guess who's with him in the video?? Yep, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon's BFF...and Brad Pitt... and Harrison Ford...and Cameron Diaz...and other big stars...they even got Josh Groban in on it. They made some kind of a 'We are the World' video and they had some big names in it. Again the video is not suitable for anyone who doesn't like a bit of vulgarity. Watch it here.

..is pregnant after all. For the past few weeks, I've been seeing pictures of her either in loose fitting clothes or an over sized coat when she's out and about. Rumors have been circulating around that she is expecting her second [and third? as there is another rumor that she may be expecting twins] biological child but neither she nor her partner, Mr. Brad Pitt, is confirming or denying it. Jolie was even asked by a CNN reporter during her visit to Iraq if she's pregnant. Her answer??? She turned the tables around and kind of reprimanded the reporter for asking such question considering the reporter is working for CNN as opposed to a TV gossip magazine type of show, I guess.

Anyway, here she is arriving with her partner at the Film Independent's Spirit Awards today. She's finally showing that very obvious baby bump she's been hiding for the past few weeks. This photo is courtesy of Just Jared.

American Idol's First 'Casualties'

In connection with the American Idol Season 7 elimination night, here are the 4 contestants who got cut-off tonight.

American Idol at this point is a popularity contest. So if you are rooting for anyone in the show, then you really have to vote because your vote can make or break a contestant's chance in making it to the finals.

But then again, just like what a lot people are saying, one need not win the competition to make it in this business. Just look at Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson. Both of them did not make it to the final three but look at them now...they have good, if not better careers than some of the past AI winners. To these 4, goodluck and keep your dreams burning!

...is the new fad in Hollywood! Wait that's not new in Hollywood...that's old news. It's just that everytime you read something about Hollywood, the headline is the newest celebrity that enters the rehab.

Now I know that it's not only them but c'mon!! These people are being admired by a lot of young ones. What do they call them again?? Yes "IDOLS"!! Is it too much too soon for these young Hollywood stars? Do they even deserve to be on the silver screen? I don't know.

Per People's Magazine, the latest young star that entered the rehab is Kirsten Dunst. She's been in the movies forever. So what gives??? She can't be experiencing what the other stars who got overwhelmed with success or a case of too much too soon. She's been successful for years. Well, it's probably a case of being 'burned out'??? I don't know, really. This was just in the 'news'. Some people are denying it but there must be some truth to it because there has been a lot of reports and sightings of her erratic behavior lately. Oh well...I just hope that she gets the help if she needs it.

By the way, have you heard of Britney Spears??? I'm sure you have!
