~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My niece has been asking me relentlessly to buy her a digital camera here. I didn't want to do it at first for several reasons. First is the shipping cost. Since it's international shipping, the cost to send her the camera is almost the same as the cost of the camera itself if not more. And what if the camera breaks or malfunctions? Even if it's still on warranty, it will be expensive to send it back because she lives out of the US. BUT...like I said she's relentless so I finally gave in. To 'somehow' compensate for the expensive shipping, I came up with a plan...send it in a 'balikbayan' box. The catch? Now I have to buy more stuff to fill that box. Thus....the 'shopping' spree online...sort of. I was able to buy the things for my female loved ones. It's so much easier to find stuff for women compared to men. I spent several hours searching but I just can't find something for the men especially my 3 brothers....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It is such a nice day today so we spent our morning doing some chores outside. The little one helped Dad clean his car while I went around the yard pulling out weeds. Yep, the neverending weed-pulling is still going on. We just got back in to have a bite then we’re heading off to the car wash then Lowe’s to look at some plants as well as get some gloves for me. My old ones are worn out already from too much weed pulling so I need a new pair. Right now, the little one is in the back porch watching the squirrels and birds that come in the backyard. Spring is definitely in the air already and how I wish it stays this way year round…but, it won’t. And since the weather is changing, we need to go shopping for clothes especially for our little one. Unlike us 'oldies', she has to have a change of wardrobe every season because she can’t wear what she wore last spring because she outgrew them already. She’s at that stage where she grows every other day ...

I was not feeling well for some reason so I told the husband that we can probably do it some other time. We just stayed in the house of course and watched our favorite shows…alternately. We only have 2 TV sets and there are 3 of us with different preferences so we took turns. Anyway, since my planned ‘shopping spree’ for my winter clothes had been put off, I decided to just check out the website of Kmart for some good deals. This store always has some great deals so I’m never disappointed when I visit it on site or online. Right now until November 26, there is a 10% off on the Attention Women's Kimono Wrap Sweater. Just what I need! Maybe I can get me 3 or 4 of this wrap sweater and I’m good to go.
