~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TGIF again! It seems to me that this week went by fast. Partly because I'm busy with work again. Usually that's what happens when I have something to keep me occupied. Since it's Friday, it's also grocery list day for me. I have not started writing the list down yet but I have to ASAP because the husband needs it in a couple of hours. As usual whenever I write a grocery list I can't help but think how expensive everything is. We've been hopping from one grocery store to another to see which one has the cheapest products. So far, all the stores we've been to are ranking the same. Indeed nothing's cheap anymore. Everything comes at a higher price today. So goodluck to me in finding that cheap auto insurance we've been looking for since a couple of months ago. I'm trying to shop for it 'online' to see what's out there but again, I'm coming up empty. We're running out of time because the time to rene...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It seems that no matter how busy they are at work, the husband still finds the chance to surf online at work. Nope, he's not slacking, far from it actually. He does it while having his lunch until his lunch break is over. Do you know what his favorite thing to search for online? Properties! Vacant lots or any properties...in the Philippines. Truth be told, he knows more about the geographical stuff in the Philippines than his wife [that would be ME]. It's no secret he wants to retire in the Philippines. Well, retire may not be an accurate word anymore because he wants to move like, right now. Obviously, we're not at our retiring age yet so if we move sometime soon, we would need to find something to sustain us while we're there, right? For now he says, he's just 'lookin'. He's checking everything though and not only properties. He already searched for things like auto insurance quotes as well as other insurance related matter...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...for the best and most affordable insurance around. It's really neverending. Why? Simple. We're not very happy with what we have at the moment. I just renewed our car insurance not too long ago and it will be good for another six months. That means I have that long to 'hunt' for a new one or we would have no choice but to keep the old one. Our home insurance on the other hand is expiring in about 3 months. Hopefully, I'll come a better one [at least in price] before it expires. But the most expensive insurance we are paying for is our health insurance. We have been with our provider for years now. We 'attempted' to change our provider a few months back but it didn't pan out so we had to stay with what have. I am not happy that we're paying so much for something that we don't use much. Aside from that, I hate the fact that they declined one of our claims not too long ago. That alone made me think about replacing t...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It seems that we are always on a constant hunt for cheaper insurance. Be it health or house or auto insurance. Right now the husband is having a meeting with a health insurance agent to see if we can get a cheaper family health insurance. Why? Because our present health insurance just keeps on going up. We are also looking for auto insurance quotes because it won’t be long before we decide to get another car which means additional insurance. Sigh…it seems we just keep on adding more and more expenses in our budget instead of cutting it down. Oh well, that’s life I guess.
