Badly. Needed. While playing in the little one's room 2 weekends ago, I just blurted out...we need a vacation. The husband's reply? I believe you're right. LOL. I guess both of us are feeling some kind of burned out already since it's been years since we actually went somewhere for more than a day. Originally, we planned in visiting the Phils earlier this year but that fell through because of work. That trip is out of the question at least for this year so we need to look into going either out of state or just somewhere here in our own state. One of the things I'm looking at are different Disney vacation packages and that's for several reasons. First, it's within driving distance but mostly because the little one wants to see Disney again. As for me, I only want to go somewhere beside the kitchen, the living room and the backyard. Hopefully, we will be able to take a trip ASAP. I'm seriously in need of fresh air and a break!

He said he wants to go somewhere, anywhere away from here for a short break. He normally doesn't talk about vacation especially since he started a business. The last time we went somewhere was not really a vacation and it was in 2006. Yep, a good 2 years. I had to attend a conference/seminar in Maryland for one of my jobs. The husband decided to tag along. So while I was attending the 2 day-seminar, he and the little one went around the area. He really wants the little to experience snow so it may be New York...or Pennsylvania because he has family there. Sometimes, these vacations turn out to be really memorable because of some instances that are not planned. Just like what happened when my friends decided we should go on Las Vegas tours . Las Vegas itself is worth remembering but one instance made it more memorable to us because it was unexpected. While in Las Vegas, my friends and I hailed a taxi to take us some place. The taxi we hailed could only accommodate 6 passengers. There were 6 of us + 1 kid. We knew the driver wouldn’t let us all in the taxi so we decided to hide the little under her Mom’s dress. It was probably one of the longest rides of my life as well as one of the funniest. The little boy was so angry at his Mom but all we could do was laugh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part of my husband’s job as a business owner is to go on business trips to meet potential customers. Early this week he met customers in Texas and in Mexico. A few weeks ago, they went to Georgia. He said that in the near future, he may have to go to Missouri as well. I know that it’s necessary for him to go on these trips and since he can’t pass them up, I asked him if we can tag along in one of his trips. He agreed to it and asked me to look online if there’s anything we can do in Branson Missouri . So I went online and typed “Branson vacations” in the search box. One of the names that popped up is Branson Getaway. It’s a site that offers vacation packages that are very affordable. The packages include accommodations as well as tickets to some of the attractions around the area such as the Silver Dollar City and shows that are held regularly. Nope, we don’t really have any plans to go anywhere during this summer except move into our new house. Yay! But even if we are not planning in going anywhere this summer, I still would like to know where people can go if they want to go on a get-away. Yes, beaches are probably the favorite destinations of a lot of vacationers but those are not the ONLY places they can go to so they can have fun during the summer. How about New Jersey? Did you know that the Radio Disney Summer Concert Series will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey this year? Yes, the series will be one of the numerous Wildwood events happening in July of this year.
