This is it! Summer is here and a lot of people are going on vacations. Us? Nope, we don’t really have any plans to go anywhere during this summer except move into our new house. Yay! But even if we are not planning in going anywhere this summer, I still would like to know where people can go if they want to go on a get-away. Yes, beaches are probably the favorite destinations of a lot of vacationers but those are not the ONLY places they can go to so they can have fun during the summer. How about New Jersey? Did you know that the Radio Disney Summer Concert Series will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey this year? Yes, the series will be one of the numerous Wildwood events happening in July of this year. The good thing is the concerts will be FREE!

Upon reading more about this place, I found out that Morey’s Piers is a great destination for a New Jersey vacations. And there are affordable Wildwood nj motels that one can choose from. So if you don’t really want to go on the beach this summer but you want to have fun, why not check the upcoming Radio Disney Summer Concert Series will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey at Morey’s Piers in the month of July. It may just turn out your best vacation ever.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
