Any plans for the weekend? We don't have any, of course. Well, we do. It's not a big plan but if it happens, it's going to be something that I don't do a lot. What is it? Secret for now. It's not something life altering but something will definitely be 'altered'. LOL. Aside from this 'secret', we may also go look around some furniture stores. Yep, we're still looking for some pieces for the house even more than 2 years of being here. What can I say, we take our sweet time choosing and deciding. Who's in a hurry anyway?

Everytime we go around looking for something for the house, one of the things I always consider is the functionality & versatility of whatever it is we're hunting for. It's no different with a coffee table. It's been a few months now since we started for a new coffee table but we haven't found "the one" yet. There are a lot of choices out there and I think that's one of the reasons why it's so hard to decide, well aside from me being picky and the hubby to be 'more picky'. We've seen a couple of tables we really like but we're still looking. We still have a few stores we're planning to visit in the next few weekends before we make any decision. I would love to buy a designer furniture but I'm not sure we have the budget for it yet. Maybe next time....

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
