...cause you "heart" me." Isn't that sweet??

This is what I found in my checkbook cover. I was looking for something about a week ago and when I opened it... this is what I found. Actually, it was written and given to me by our little one months ago, I just forgot about it. I kept it because I find it very heartwarming. She gives me little pieces of papers with something written on them everyday. Some I keep, some I don't because I keep them all, I'll be drowning in papers now...LOL! One thing is for sure though, I will always treasure these sweet little nothings from her.

I thought of posting this picture when I found it but I just got a bit busy. I still have a lot of other pictures of her little 'mementos' for me I can hardly keep up. Anyway, I am about to log off for the night. I have one more post to make then I'm done.

Thanks to all who came by today. I was able to do some hopping today. It sure is slow today because I saw very little activities throughout the day. It must be because it's Monday?? Whatever the reason is, I hope everyone had a good Monday...

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
