The Birthday That Was....

It was a long day but it's well worth it. Our little one had fun and that's all that counts. Here are some pictures from today.

Yep, some gifts were opened before the cake was cut but...whatever makes her happy, right? We only had her Mom-mom [grandma], an Aunt, an Uncle, a Cousin and a great-cousin but it was somehow full of life. Maybe because we usually celebrate her birthday with just the three of us...so having other people made it more lively??

We were hoping to celebrate her birthday in the new house already but it didn't happen. But that's okay, I'm sure there's plenty more birthdays to celebrate there.

She couldn't wait for the cake...because she was itching to open the presents....hmm...

Yes, she made a wish....wonder what it was though....

Finally...opening of gifts. Can you believe she asked for Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story???Dad had to go to about 3 stores to find it....

And here we are...look at us....fatties...hayyy...

To all those who greeted our little on this special day...THANKS A LOT!!! The thought is very much appreciated....I hope to make it up to all of you....

She is indeed a very gorgeous young lady. She smiles like her mom and she looks like her daddy a lot. She is beautiful and very sweet to her daddy and mommy, i love the last picture, the family picture that is indeed a very sweet picture that is worth to keep forever.

I love that family pic. erica is so cute, pwede ba mahiram? sa totoo lang, aaminin ko na, naiinggit ako, teary eyed nga ako just looking at the pictures.

no, I'm not OA, hindi drama. it pinches my heart every time I see a couple with a girl. for some reason, we were obsessed on having a girl, but alas, it remains a dream. you're so lucky, you have her.

hay tuks, umiiyak na talaga ako while writing this. i'm pretty much okay most of the time especially after the 2nd IVF failed but sometimes I can't help it.

o, emotional lang talaga ako these days. sorry ha.

 ...is that still even a thing today? I stopped blogging actively several years ago...so now I'm like starting all over again.  I don't even know what to post anymore. A lot has changed since I started this blog in 2008. Yep, that's how long ago it's been. Back then I just wanted to write whatever. I was already a WAHM - Work at Home Mom when I started this blog and that's how my blog title came about. I started doing work-at-home jobs as early as 2002. I had a handful of different jobs I was juggling at that time so blogging was just really something I did during my free time. After a while I did paid blogging. I did that for a few years. I tried to do it as much as I could but my 'real' jobs had to be my priority so my blogging had to take a back seat. In retrospect, that may be the reason why I slowly lost interest in doing it.
