Another Day Has Begun....

....while another is about to end. Nah...I'm not being dramatic. I just can't come up with another title since I already used 'Good Morning' yesterday.

TGIF! Again? Days really seem to fly, don't they? I'm not sure if I should be happy or not that it's the weekend once again.

My husband and I are a bit pis*ed [putting it mildly] because it seems that the builder is taking forever to finish whatever little work is left in our house. I really don't see the rational behind all the delays.

By February, everything was moving fast. We even thought that we would be moving in by March. Nope...didn't happen. March came and went...still not moving in. We visit the site almost every weekend. The things that they accomplished for the last 8 weeks could have easily been done in 1 week...yes, O-N-E fre*kin' week. [Now I'm pis*ed]

Ugh!!! Anyway, the husband is going to call the guy who's in charge and see what he can get out of him. I'm sure not much since he doesn't seem to care. You would think that because the housing business is not doing so good these days and that they only have about 5 other houses to build, it will all happen much quicker. Nope...it's not.

I'm ending here before I start a 'hate entry' here. My apologies for the vent. I guess I just need to let it out somewhere and since this is the closest to me, this is where it went.

Oh well some people can't seem to do anything right. You have the right to be pissed off because they're not doing their jobs right.

thats normal if you vent, ur a human being.. hehehe.. calm down sis.. and i hope that everything will goes okay na with your house...

ur right time flies so fast, i have only 6 weeks more to go and then finally there...

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
