Another Day Passed...

Well, almost anyway. I had a so-so day...not too busy but not too idle either. I did some work, a little dusting here and there. I thought of vacuuming but that's how far it went...a thought!

I had a very bad allergy day yesterday, before and after the birthday party of Pop. I asked the husband to get me some Sinus/Allergy combo meds on Saturday since that seemed to work last week. But he couldn't find any Advil Sinus/Allergy or any sinus/allergy med combo for that matter.

I asked him to just get the sinus medicine and I'll give it a try. He got the Tylenol severe sinus med and guess what?? It only worsened my allergy. I was sneezing and blowing my nose the whole day. My nose felt like falling off and it was painful.

I had to take my Severe Allergy medicine to stop my never ending 'achoos'. My nose is still sore actually because of all the blowing and wiping I had to do until late last night. I went to bed at around 10:30 because I couldn't take it anymore. That did the trick because I woke up feeling much better.

So I better end here or I might have another episode tomorrow. Night everyone....

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
