Fun in San Diego

I am a self-confessed homebody and so is my husband. It’s a good thing that we’re both that way or else it would have been one chaotic union, eh? Anyway, even if I am not much into the night life like going to bars or just having a good time outside the house, I actually have very close friends who are into that kind of life. Hey, “to each his own” so I respect that and they respect my being a homebody. One of my friends, a male friend, is residing in San Diego now. This friend is very outgoing so he had been to some San Diego dive bars and then some. When I was not married yet and I went there for a vacation, he was really bugging me to go with him and some of his friends so I could experience it even for just one night. Fortunately, or unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Maybe next time when I visit that city again…I may just visit one of those places with the husband and see what my friend was talking about.

same with me, after i graduated in my college... toink.. and i'm all free to do all the night life thingy..

its something like, i get tired with it and then, aside from tiring myself from all this stuff, they're be loud musics and such..and too many people.. hehehe [that is why its a club]

anyways... why not for a change.. i'm not sure with ma life in US yet, probably the family and friends of my fiancee would surely drag me out of the house to have some fun....

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. It's not that I have nothing to write about. I have plenty but I seem to have lost interest in blogging. I thought  at first that it was just a phase. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
