Last weekend, we went out to get me some clothes. Like I mentioned in a couple of my previous posts, my husband got tired looking at me wearing the same kind of clothes for the longest time. So off we went to solve ‘his’ problem…ha! I was a bit hesitant to go actually because I really don’t want to spend money for things which I don’t feel are really necessary. Everything today is expensive so if I can, I try to look for items which are on sale. Since I am an online shopper nothing makes me happier than finding free shipping coupons because the shipping cost sometimes is more expensive than the items I wish to buy.

My husband is also an online shopper especially when it comes to computer accessories and his tools. We bought our personal computer online and one of his all time favorite store is NewEgg. I think he bought almost all of his computer needs from that store and I’m pretty certain that he will buy more from this store so finding this NewEgg promo code is a huge thing. I’m still not sure if I will let him know about it or if I should just use it to buy something for him since our anniversary is coming up. Anyway, nothing is more romantic to my husband than getting the things he truly likes….and that’s anything for his computer.

I like to hunt for items on clearance too Jul. Everytime I go in to the store, I always start at the clearance section first then work my way to the regular priced items. It is such a good feeling finding things that were $30 and pay $10-20 for it. I find that a good buy.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
