And the Temperature....

....continues to go down! It seems the sunny state will have to change its name because it's been nothing but here since this weekend. Oh wait...it's still sunny but the temperature is not letting Mr. Sun get on its way because it keeps going down. We just had the lowest temperature this morning at 29 degrees Fahrenheit. Ugh!

It's not really that bad for us because we have the heater. The husband, who thrives in cold weather by the way, put the heater in 79F last Monday. Why? Because when he checked on the little one early Monday morning before leaving for work, she was laying on her blanket. Yep, the Daddy in him took over and adjusted it from 70 to 79. LOL...Right now, it's probably in the 30s or 40s outside. Here inside it's about 73 so it's comfortable.

Anyway, I'm blogging a bit early since I have a lot of things to do. Yep, my lazy days are over...well, since yesterday actually. I was able to do some work and clean some yesterday. Today, I plan to do the same thing. But before I do that, I have a couple of tags that I want to post. I hope I can find them...

okay..okay.. i bet your still lucky having okay temperature, we have snows here everywhere.. the place is freezing.. and needs to put on layered clothes in order for you to get comfy and warm.... imagine for 26 years in my life... binigla ako na ganito ang weather and the temperature is like 30-20F???

hehehehe... oops.. i'm i complaining here? hehehehe. peace...

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
