I am a wee bit late blogging today. Been busy with household stuff...what else is new, right? The little one and I finally finished putting the Christmas cards together....stamps, address, return address, etc. We 'braved' the 'cold' and went outside to put them in the mailbox so they're on their way. The mail woman came already so they will picked up tomorrow. I just hope those that are going out of the country will make it on time. I'm sure there are a few people that I forgot to send a card to but I'll remember them before Christmas....hahaha...

It's been really cold here today. We woke up in the 30s and it's currently in the 50s, so yes, it's cold to me. Actually, 73 is cold to me believe it or not so you can just imagine what a 30 degree Fahrenheit will do to me. So here I am curled up on the couch trying to blog and watch TV at the same time.

Ay buti ka pa, I on the other hand is still challenged on when i'm going to get those things done. I make handmade cards by the way but with my hectic schedule, I think i'll grab me a package from the store, lol.

There's a change for you.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
