Cool Mornings...

After some rainy days, we're now having cool mornings again. I was back in my warm tights and sweaters since yesterday morning. Hubby was asking me if it's too cold for me...ummm...yeah! Anyway, one more day and it's everybody's favorite day again....FRIDAY! But let's not jump the gun and enjoy today first, okay?

I have a lot of work to do...paid and otherwise. I'm hoping to do as much as possible between today and tomorrow so I can spend the time outside helping the husband. He started putting down the decorative stones last weekend. He already finished the back where the blueberry bushes are and one side of the garage. We still have to do the 2 flower beds in front...that's where I come in to help. The flower beds are riddled with weeds so the weed picker has to step in...ME! Only after they're weeded can we start planting the plants we got last weekend. For now, they're still in their pots positioned where we want them to be.

With that....I better start rolling...before my laundry starts beeping.....

dito cool pa rin all day and night. yung man shopper mo ha parang si F din pag may pagkakataon. hindi sinusunod ang nakalista. chance niya kasi para mag shopping hahaha.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
