Lucky 13
We survived the 13-year mark of our union! Yay! LOL...It will be 13 years this weekend since that picture of us holding hands was taken. We took it ourselves to signify the start of our life together. A lot has changed since that day. For one, there is now a third hand that we both hold tight...that of our little one. Also, those 2 hands have more wrinkles now and the rings, well, they've seen better days. But we're still wearing those same old rings up to this day. Mine are exactly the same while that of the husband had to be re-sized because it 'shrunk'. I guess that's what 13 years does to a ring....it shrinks! Or does it? Hmmm....
Anyway, it's been a great 13 years that 'spawned' [hehe] a great human being. Some days are harder than the others but there are definitely more 'good' days than bad ones. We're still the same goof balls that we were when we first met...only older goof balls. It's been 13 years of learning the ropes of life together...and I can't think any other person I'd rather do that than with the man of my nightmares...I mean, dreams. Happy 13th Hon!
