The Bourne Ultimatum
Finally, after waiting for months, I was able to watch "The Bourne Ultimatum". This film and "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix" are probably the top 2 films I really wanted to see and now, I've seen them. Yay!
I've read reviews of this film and just like any other film, it had some good and bad reviews. But the good reviews definitely outnumbered the not so good ones....and now I can see why. As expected, the film is full of action. Since Bourne Ultimatum is the 'last of the trilogy Bourne book' that Robert Ludlum wrote, a lot of the questions left hanging in the first 2 were answered in this film. Like his real name and why his memory was erased. Some characters from the first 2 films were cast also so it's not too hard to figure out who's who in the film.
Is this really the last in the Bourne series? For now, maybe. In 2004, a book a book titled "Bourne Legacy" was published. It was not written by Robert Ludlum himself but by Eric Van Lustbader. Another one titled: "Bourne Betrayal" was published this year, 2007 by the same writer. Both books are sequels to the Bourne Series and were of course inspired by the 3 original books. So it's not really a question of IF there will be another one...it's just a question of WHEN... and would Matt Damon reprise his role as Jason Bourne? That I have to see!
