After Years of Waiting....

==========================================

....our house is finally taking shape before our very eyes! It's been more than 3 years since we signed the papers for our very first house with our first builder. That was in October of 2004. I won't go into details anymore as to what happened to the original builder but if you want to read about it, here's an article on what he did to us and 100 more families.

It is now February 2008 and with a new builder, we are hopeful that this is it. Last time we were at the site was 2 weeks ago. There was very little activity going on that time so it surprised me when I saw that the house is finally taking shape.

We went to visit it this afternoon and I took some pictures. Here's one of them. Our little girl running around as if she's finally free and my husband checking ever nook and cranny of whatever's been done already. Can you see them??

I should say that it was an exciting trip for the 3 of us. We've been visiting this place for the last 3 years or so and everytime we see that empty lot, we couldn't help but be sad. This was also the first time that we [my daughter and I] actually walked on the property. I want to celebrate but I am trying to hold back. With all that we've been through, I just can't be too happy right now...not yet anyway. It's been a long road for us but our little family stuck it out together. Hopefully, this is it. No more heartaches, headaches and disappointments. I think we've had our fair share of that already! Like they say...after the rain, the sun will shine. Our sun took 3 years to come out and shine but we're happy that it did.

Hi Miss J,
First , I am sorry for what it sounds like a serious problems that your family encountered in the process of buildong the property. If you don't mind me asking but I'm curious to know what the builder did ?

It looks like the house is going to be a real beautiful house for a family to grow.

Good luck and looking forward for the finish picture of your dream house.
