Bizarre Story of the day....

We always read something bizarre on the papers or online. Some of them are worth sharing and some are not. I always read the Yahoo News and there have been quite a few of these kinds of stories so I thought I'd start posting them here for amusement, for fun, or for simply grossing you out...LOL.

So what's my bizarre story of the day from Yahoo today.....how about a 'woman that sat on the toilet for 2 years'!!!! And when it says 'sat'...it meant sat. No getting up I would imagine. For those of you that gets grossed out real easily, stop reading....

According to the news, because of the length of time this 35 year old woman was sitting on the porcelain throne, her skin 'seemed' to have grown around the throne. Oh my. So who called the police to report this? Her boyfriend! Yes, she had somebody with her in the house and it took him 2 years to call the authorities.

Hmmm...if that's not bizarre I don't know what is! This is the bizarre story of today, March 12, 2008.

Wow for real? Seriously? Sitting on the porcelain throne for 2 long years? What was she thinking? What was the boyfriend thinking? Hmm... there are just some things that we sane people can't explain hahaha!

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
