Dreaming of Dyson...

I had a very tiring day today. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I had to do laundry today. While the first load was in the washer, I decided to also do some cleaning. And cleaning for me is not complete if I do not vacuum. I have to vacuum at least twice a week so our vacuum is a necessity for me. Unfortunately, this vacuum we have right now is about to ‘expire’ on me. Actually it did already…multiple times at that. But my husband always tries to ‘resurrect’ it. With the big move we are having in next few weeks, this vacuum is not moving in with us. I already told my husband that I am looking at some Dyson vacuums and I am planning to get one as soon as we are in the new house. I already have a model in mind and I just found the place I can possibly get it: 1AwesomeVac. It’s a place that is an authorized Dyson vacuums dealer. This means that all the Dyson vacuums they sell are the real deal. I cannot wait to finally get my hand on a Dyson vacuum. Once I have it, it’s going to be a “wish come true”.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
