....took home almost $50 million from her divorce settlement with Paul McCartney. She was originally asking for $250 million because she needs $6.5 million a year! Huh??? For what?

Okay...I know she's a woman and a lot of people probably admire her for her crusades but she just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know her. She doesn't know me so who cares, right? I just thought that it was too much for her to actually demand that much money from her estranged husband of what, 4 years? Yes, there was no pre-nup but that does not give her the right for that much money.

Anyway, today the 58-page ruling by the judge who presided the divorce hearing was released. From what I have read so far, it's not painting a pretty picture of Mills. The judge mentioned how Mills twisted the truth just to get what she wanted - M-O-N-E-Y! He also said that Mills is actually her own's worst enemy. Ha!

There was even a report today that Mills poured water on the Paul McCartney's lawyer! How rude is that if it's indeed true?

Oh well...I guess Sir Paul McCartney would know better next time he decides to get hitched again! Pre-Nup!!!!

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
