It's 11:30 PM...

...and our little one is still wide awake. Yes, she is. I have been to her bedroom a lot of times already since she went to bed at around 9 PM. I can hear every little noise she makes so I have to check on her. Why is she still awake??? Good question...and I may just know why. There are 2 reasons actually.

First is the Easter picnic that I mentioned here earlier. We've known about this picnic for about a month now. I wish we didn't tell her about it but we did...and she tends to be really excited about these kind of things.

Secondly, she's waiting for 'someone'. Who? Not me and not her Dad. This 'someone' comes in the middle of the night. Nope, it's not Santa. He's not due here for another 9 months anyway. It's the 'tooth fairy'! Yes, she lost a tooth today...the second one so far. She lost one last month - February 7 to be exact. I blogged about it that's why I know. She got her coins then so now she's super duper excited because she's expecting the 'tooth fairy' to come in anytime now.

Well, I told her the tooth fairy is not coming if she's awake...but nope, she's still awake. She's in the bathroom as I am typing this. Argghhh....maybe I should call the tooth fairy and tell her not to come tonight. Oh...I don't have her number...Darn!

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
