It's About Time....

...that I see the inside of a movie theater again! You see, I have not been inside a movie theater in...hmmm...let's see...about 6 years!!! The last movie I saw in a movie theater is...drum rolls please...Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Yeah, the one where Harry was still drinking milk before going to bed. Well, make that Daniel Radcliffe...when he didn't know how to act yet.

Anyway, I was pregnant already when we went to see that movie. So after giving birth, we never had the chance to go see another one. We could probably have if we hired a sitter for a day/night so we could go out and watch. But we didn't...and I'm fine with that.

Anyway, have you heard of the Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who, the movie? This one!!!

This is the one we are going to see one of these days. Yay! Can you tell I'm happy? Actually, I am more excited for our little one. This will be her very first movie theater experience. Oh wait, she was actually in one at the Kennedy Space Center where they had an IMAX show when we were there...and she wouldn't keep quiet.

So we have been telling her that it's going to be different this time. We told her that the usher/usherette in the theater will ask us to leave if we're noisy. And since she really wants to see it, she promised she's not going to talk during the movie...yeah right!

Anyway, I just thought that I'd write about it here because it's a first for our little one....and a first for me after 6 loooooonngggg years of not seeing that big screen.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
