Top 12 of American Idol 7

I posted earlier the four American Idol 7 hopefuls who got the boot last night. So I thought I'd post the 12 that actually made the cut. There are now 6 girls and 6 boys in the group. Starting next week, they will be singing on the same day. The elimination will be the day after and they will be eliminating one contestant at a time from that time on.

Yes, we are very proud that our very own, Ramiele Malubay, made the cut. Thanks to those who actually spend the time dialing in and texting in their votes to keep her this far in the competition. One of those who was eliminated last night was Danny Noriega. Now, I am aware the Noriega can either be a Spanish/Latino last name but we also have some Noriega in the Philippines. I have read somewhere, a comment, that he may be of Filipino descent like Ramiele but I have not seen anything else but that one comment. So I would like to ask anyone who knows for real if he is indeed a Kababayan.

Why am I asking? Because if he is indeed a 'Filipino' I would have loved to at least mention that whenever I write about Ramiele.

WOW! Ramielle is in top 12, congrats to her! I also heard and read a blog about a male in top 24 before, at first I thought it was David archuleta because it was something D in the beginning of his name but I was not so sure also.

hay naku, i still didn't put up lots of my expectations not until the USEM sent me the visa and naa na jud siya sa akong mga kamot.. hehehehe... i'll shout it jud once i have it positively, but thanks to the console she did give me a positive response regarding my documents...

i'm still praying and keep praying hard para sa akong visa...

cool, Top 12! hehe, I am one of the happy ones when Ramiele got in the top 12. Tho she's not my fave, hehe..

We got some scoop here in the Philippines during the airing of the audition episode that David Archuleta has a filipino blood. well I'm not 100% sure tho, gotta check my CD's first for that.

I just wish I can vote! lol

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
