Friday is almost over and the weekend is almost here. We have no big plans for the weekend [so what else is new??? LOL]. Like I mentioned the other day I think, we are having the first interested buyer come in this Sunday so we have to kind of prepare the place. I just have to clean a bit more...vacuum and dusting mostly. The husband is taking half-day off tomorrow so he can do some mowing and cleaning on the outside of the house. Aside from that, we're just staying in for most of the weekend.

And since someone is coming in here Sunday, we may not be able to visit the new house like we usually do on Sundays. Dang..and I want to see the cabinets that they already put. The carpet and flooring will be installed, hopefully, next week. So if and when we visit next weekend, I am hoping that we will be walking on cleaner floors.

Anyway, I have to get off here in a few as I have some QCing to do. I have one more post to finish then I'd be off the blogging world until tomorrow maybe. But we'll see.

To all who came over to visit, thanks much. For those requesting for a link back, my apologies as I couldn't attend to that right now. Hopefully in the next few days I won't be as busy. Also, I am having problems adding links. I keep getting: Script problems[?]. Not sure what's causing it but I have been experiencing it for a few weeks now. Could it be I have exceeded the allowed links here?? I thought it's unlimited?? I'm not sure but I'll try to look into it next time.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
