My Beautiful Mommy?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ummm no...my little girl didn't tell me that. This is actually a title of a book that's creating some noise. I've read about it earlier this week in one online celebrity magazine and it caught my attention right away. I kinda' know that it will be one controversial topic.
Why? Well, the book is about plastic surgery...and it's a kid's picture book. Yes, something that is written for bedtime stories[?]. It's written by a Plastic Surgery Doctor. The book is supposed to answer questions by kids who get confused with the physical changes in their moms after some tummy tuck or face lift or whatever lifts the moms undergo. The book is due right around Mother's Day. Timing, eh?
Of course the book is getting mixed reviews as there are still a lot of people out there who are not sold to the idea of going through cosmetic surgery. One show that I saw discuss this book is "The View". In a nutshell, they are against what the book is trying to convey. It's actually one of the few things they agree on.
I don't have any intentions of having any kind of plastic surgery so I really don't know how this book would affect me and my daughter or is there is even a need to talk about it with her. But one thing is for sure, if and when she asks me questions about this very topic, she will get straight forward answers from me.
So what do you think of this book? Aye or Nay? or maybe Yay! LOL!
Oh I missed this on "the view", the hosts there are nuts, I like them. haha
I just think that plastic surgery are overrated these days and to have a book about it for kids would most likely stir up more questions and curiosity from them.
Im curious about this book tho, hehe, I want to know if this conveys an open message for all or it clearly explains a one sided view.
