She CAN'T Keep a Secret....

Yep, my daughter cannot keep secrets. She likes surprises but it is really tough for her to keep any surprise a secret.

She's now counting the days for Mother's Day. This morning, she went to her calendar on the fridge and marked today. Here's our conversation as she was doing it and while she's following me around.

Her: Mom...it's Saturday. Soon it's going to be....

Me: Monday [just teasing her a little bit]

Her: Yeah, yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's almost Monday, yes, Monday.

Me: Ok...

Her [while following me]: You know, Daddy and I still don't know what to get you for Mother's Day. [toink]

Me: Okay. [trying to keep the convo to a minimum before she spills 'her big secret']

Her: Yeah, we were talking last night while you were in the shower. I didn't want you to hear it but we were talking what to get you for Mother's day. [LOL here already]

Me: Really?

Her: Yes. I was telling Daddy that maybe we [her and Dad] should go to Walmart and get you something like last year....and Daddy nodded. [LOL]

Me: Ok...maybe you shouldn't tell me.

Her: But I didn't tell you what we're getting. We don't know yet.

Me: Okay.

End of conversation.

So now I WILL be expecting something for Mother's Day....hahaha. I don't usually expect anything but since she told me....what more can I do, right?

yes the little girl is so fun! you get away with those topics from now coz she's more likely to spill it out. haha.. but yeah, u got no choice but to expect something from them, which is not bad at all! you deserve it.

well, it is nice that you will be getting something this mother's day. my daughter and my son doesn't know anything about mother's day and so as my husband. he thinks about father's day already.

anyway, i would be a bad mom if i demand for something. lol!!

anyway 24 hours pa rin po. i sleep mostly in the morning due to some marital reasons. i am still in the "you know what" situation. tried talking but hey! women are from venus and he definitely from a different solar system...hehehe!!

 ...is that still even a thing today? I stopped blogging actively several years ago...so now I'm like starting all over again.  I don't even know what to post anymore. A lot has changed since I started this blog in 2008. Yep, that's how long ago it's been. Back then I just wanted to write whatever. I was already a WAHM - Work at Home Mom when I started this blog and that's how my blog title came about. I started doing work-at-home jobs as early as 2002. I had a handful of different jobs I was juggling at that time so blogging was just really something I did during my free time. After a while I did paid blogging. I did that for a few years. I tried to do it as much as I could but my 'real' jobs had to be my priority so my blogging had to take a back seat. In retrospect, that may be the reason why I slowly lost interest in doing it.
