Where Was PinayWAHM on Memorial Day???

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
H-O-M-E-!!! Where else?? LOL... Yep, we were in the house in the morning but we went to the new house after lunch.
Last time I wrote an update, I mentioned that the we were waiting for the sod people to put the sod in place on Saturday as the sprinklers were installed already. Saturday came and went by and we didn't get any call from the sod people. The husband thought that maybe they didn't work since it's the holiday weekend.
Surprise, surprise! The owner of the sod company called this morning letting us know that they did in fact started putting down sod on Saturday and that he was in the property finishing up - on Memorial Day! So my husband had to drive up there to meet up with him. Why? Because we had to pay him for our part of the sod. The builder only paid so much and we had to cover the rest. Hmmp!
Anyway after meeting up with him, my husband called me to ask if I wanted to go down the property...yes, he had to come back here and pick us up. Why? Because my WINGS are in the dryer and I couldn't fly there...hahaha...
So off we went to the house after lunch. I expected to see lush green lawn when I got there...haha. Nah, the sod is like dried grass...haha. Yeah, yeah I know we have to wait and water it so it will be lush and green some day.
Here are a couple of shots on the outside...the front and the back.
I guess I have a lot of gardening to do, eh? The inside is all done as well. Like I mentioned before, my husband put all those 'blue dots' on the screw ups and it seems like they got most of it right. I hope! So here we are just waiting on the builder and the bank so we can do the closing as soon as possible.
In short...we're almost there but not quite yet!
Jul mabuti pa kayo ok na. Kami we are actively looking for a piece of land para patayoan ng bahay and then sell the house we are in right now. Sayang kasi because the neighborhood is getting bad and we didn't want Frankie to go to school here. Nice cozy house.BTW, I am claiming the tag pala.
