Halloween Costume Galore....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you ask the little one here what her favorite holiday is, she will say without batting an eyelash: Halloween! So we are on the lookout for Halloween costumes year round and not just when Halloween is near. She’s been donning a Halloween costume every year eversince she was a few months old and we still have all of her costumes from the past 5 years.
I personally donned some Halloween costumes as well. In my past life that is. I taught for more than 10 years and it’s a regular event in the schools I worked for to have the Halloween festivities every year. As a homeroom adviser, I had to put on a costume myself to encourage my students to participate….and to have fun of course. In one of the Halloween events in the school I worked for, one of my new co-teachers decided to surprise us with her costume. We were all in the gym of the school when she came in wearing this:
We all liked it of course…except for the nuns who run the school. Yep, the sisters had their mouth hanging open when my former co-teacher entered the gym. It seems that she forgot that our school is a Catholic school being run by nuns and that there is a certain ‘dress code’ to follow even on such events as Halloween. Needless to say, she had to stay in the teacher’s lounge until she could find something more , ummm…'appropriate' to put on. We all had a good laugh about it until the end of the school year.
Right now, I am still busy looking for a costume for our little girl. I am not a ‘sewer’ who can come up with something so I depend on places like
And as I was browsing in the site, I came across this Haunted House backdoor that leads to discounts to their products by using the secret code. How do you get to this backdoor? Go to the homepage halfway down on the right and click on the brown comma in the line that reads “Our Store now has over 8,000 masquerade items for you to choose from!” Voila…you get the code you need for the discounts. As for our little one’s costume, I’m thinking of getting her this lovely Tinkerbell costume.
