One Happy Camper...

Not me but the little one. The reason??? The DVDs that Dad ordered online just arrived. She's been wanting the different Mickey Mouse DVDs for quite a while now but we couldn't find them in the stores here so we tried online and voila....there they are. Dad got her 5 DVDs...spoiled little girl..LOL..

Anyway, right now she's watching 1 of them. After that she promised to finish her school works so we'll see.

As for our weather, it's been gloomy on and off. Tropical storm Fay is still that, a tropical storm. Fortunately it didn't turn into a hurricane but it's lingering over the state and is said to be serious rainmaker. It drizzled a bit this morning but it stopped.

A few of the counties have been put on tornado watch until 4PM today. Thankfully our county is not one of them.

That's what's happening around here right now, in and out of the house.

hahaha.. thats so cute. cant u just resist the plea of a little girl? i hate it but is sure love to spoil my little boy. lol.

Of course Mommy! She's gotta have it. :D

My little one just starting to like children shows on tv. Blues Clues so far. A good babysitter eh?

Oh, we got some of that rain here girl, pouring all night and still is today. Feels like spring.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
