When I decided to become a full time mother, I also had this elaborate plan to help my husband financially. How I was going to do that was beyond me at that time. I was very idealistic thinking that it won’t be that hard. Boy was I ever wrong. It took months before I finally realized that finding a work at home job is not something that would fall on my lap. I had to do a lot of research and spent countless hours online to find something that is not a scam. One of the things I first did was to find some freelance jobs online. During those days I only knew of a couple of sites to look for those kinds of jobs.

Today, such is not the case because“The Freelance Nation” is here. It's a place where freelancers who are looking for a job and businesses who post jobs meet. I visited the site and I am impressed with the list freelance work available in the site. Aside from that, they also have a Freelance Forum where one can read, learn and interact with other freelancers. The site also has articles on how it benefits both freelancers and small businesses. I’m sure that after reading these articles, you would agree that this site is the best meeting place for businesses and freelancers. So...

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
