Taking a Break from....

Yep, I have to take a break from this thing called blogging UNLESS I find a monkey to help me with it. LOL...

Seriously, I am really taking a break from doing this simply because it's no longer practical for me. Like most of you know, I am WAHM...which means I have another job that I do at home.

Since I got into blogging [and because I enjoy it enormously], my jobs have kind of taken a back seat. It was fine for a while but I just noticed that what I make doing the 'paid blogging' is not making up for what I CAN make when there is work to be done...darn!

Work has picked up since a few weeks ago but since I was so engrossed with blogging...I have not made what I should make. Sigh....lost some 'moolah' there...

So if you don't see me as often, that's the reason why. I'll still try to hop and visit you back but my entries here [and in my other blog] will be fewer. Well, they've been fewer since the last few weeks anyway...

Thanks for those who came by and who will come by. I'll see you all around...

Special Request: Please say a little prayer for us here in Florida. There is a chance that Hurricane Ike might lead our way. It's still early to say for certain but it's now a category 4 hurricane so it's kinda' scary....that's why I'm asking for a special prayer.

ETA: Just a quick note...we were spared by Ike. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts. It looks like it may hit Texas though...so I am sending all those in Texas some prayers and good thoughts as well. Stay safe everyone.

Wow, plenty of money making projects! Good for you. It's understandable that anyone in your position would give priority for paid projects. May those blessings never end!

With regards to that hurricane Ike, if already a category 4, it must be super strong. Just have faith that He'll protect you from harm. Rest assured my prayers are with you. God bless!

Your friends here in the blogsphere will surely miss you. But hey we all have priorities in life. If you're earning more offline than online then that's more important right? Unlike others, blogging is really their main source of cash.

 ...is that still even a thing today? I stopped blogging actively several years ago...so now I'm like starting all over again.  I don't even know what to post anymore. A lot has changed since I started this blog in 2008. Yep, that's how long ago it's been. Back then I just wanted to write whatever. I was already a WAHM - Work at Home Mom when I started this blog and that's how my blog title came about. I started doing work-at-home jobs as early as 2002. I had a handful of different jobs I was juggling at that time so blogging was just really something I did during my free time. After a while I did paid blogging. I did that for a few years. I tried to do it as much as I could but my 'real' jobs had to be my priority so my blogging had to take a back seat. In retrospect, that may be the reason why I slowly lost interest in doing it.
