Daydreaming....

The weather here in our neck of the woods has been sporadic. One day it's freezing, the next day it's hot. The past few days though has been neither of those two...it's been gloomy which makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning. It's a good thing I don't need to work outside the house or I will be calling in sick every single day...LOL. When the weather is like this, all I want to do is sit in front of the TV and watch whatever is on. Wouldn't it be nice if we have a home theater with home theater seating? I'd probably sleep in that room if ever we have it. Our house is not that big to accommodate a home theater yet but maybe in the future, eh? No one knows what the future holds so I'm dreaming [fantasizing?] that one day, we will have that big house with its own home theater. That will the day when I will NEVER leave the comfort of my home. Yep, I'm actually daydreaming right now...LOL!

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
