Lazy Day....

As in super lazy day...hay. It's a bit cold today so I was just too lazy to do anything. I blogged a little bit...and did very little coding. I just don't feel like working. Ugh! I hope I'd be motivated tomorrow so if work is released, I'd be on it until it runs out.

My shingles are shingles no more...they're now boo-boos....and they hurt! I'm not sure how long it will take before they heal but I'm hoping it will be soon. I still have some pain on my leg but it's not that bad anymore. I'm still thinking if I should take a pain reliever or not.

Anyway, I better stop here and hit the hay. I'm just yawning here non-stop. Let's hope my day will be livelier tomorrow...which I doubt because the temperature will even be lower than today....like 30s only. Maybe I should spike up the heater to 78...then it will feel like it's summer again....LOL..

hi j! buzzing around these parts today... thanks for the visit and the comment. am feeling a bit better now, my friend got buried last sunday and i just offered prayers for him and for his family and thanked our good Lord for his life here on earth. my friend's passing allowed me to reflect on a lot of things in the past days. and allow me to thank you and my other blogger friends for the support. have a great week ahead. ciao!

K fine, you can keep your "Update" word thingy hehehe. Gawa nalang ako nang pirated version: "So what's New!" Hahaha!

I'm not use to fahrenheit so I had to convert it to celsius hehehe. So 30 degree f is -1.1 celsius ei? Same here. well it was only 0 degrees celsius but the weather was great even if it snowed. Love the snow, hate the strong icy wind hehehe.

Anyway, I also feel lazy these days but seeing my paycheck makes me want to work more so that I'll earn more hehehe.

Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather?
