Do they ever stop coming? Not until we're six feet under I guess. Even if your mortgage is all paid up, there's going to be other bills that will come no matter what.
I just finished writing checks for some bills due next month and I just can't help but think of my good ole' days where I didn't have to worry much about bills. I used to have only 2 bills to pay...rent & electric and I share that with 2 roommates so it wasn't so bad. But since coming over here, I've been overwhelmed with all the bills that never fail to come in our mailbox. The husband is the one that pays all of them but I write the checks now so I just feel the 'pain' of forking out that much money every single month.
Hay....oh well, I guess I just have to learn to live with it. I'm lucky I have a husband who works his bee-hind off so we can pay all these bills that come our way.
How I wish we have this:
