Is it winter yet? Because it surely feels like it is already…and we’re in the Sunshine state. If I can barely survive temperatures in the 30s, I cannot imagine how I will survive if we move to a state that has those freezing temperatures especially in the winter time. My husband though loves this kind of weather. He’d be grinning from ear to ear if the temperature dips down. Anyway, I mentioned that he may go on a business trip this month in one of the colder states. That trip may not push through BUT he’s going on another one…in another cold state, New Jersey. They have a visiting customer right now who wants him to come visit their shop sometime soon. Since the little one and I have not been to New Jersey, he wants us to tag along. It would be great to take the little one because she likes to travel but I’m honestly not crazy about the idea…but…

The husband only told me about it during his lunch break today so I don’t have all the information yet but I’ve read about Morey’s Piers not too long ago. After hanging up, I went to their website to see what it has to offer. It offers a lot actually from the best water parks in New Jersey to hotels and motels around the area to Jersey Shore beach Vacation packages. Their annual sale is ongoing and will last until January 9 of next year where customers can save up to 40%. What a great site for those who are planning to visit New Jersey. This may just change my mind about visiting Jersey, eh? Maybe…

Punta ka dito sa amin sa New Jersey. Tolerable man ang lipot, pero pag may snow, uni baga no choice kundi magpala sa driveway.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
