Lack of Sleep = Allergy Attack...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My eyes feel so heavy while I’m typing this. I had a hard time falling asleep last night and I really have no idea why. Stress maybe? But I can’t think of anything that could have stressed me out. One thing is sure though, my allergy is acting up because of my lack of sleep. Now that I think about it, for the past few months I’ve been struggling when it comes to falling asleep easily. I initially thought I may have restless leg syndrome but that didn’t last so I don’t think I have it. I so envy the husband because he can go to sleep most nights as soon as he closes his eyes.
Since I no longer think it is restless leg syndrome, I am now at a loss as to what’s causing my inability to sleep when I have to. Can it be a symptom of menopause? But I’m only in my early 40s. Is it possible? Apparently it is possible for women my age to go through menopause already [even those much younger than me]. I personally don’t know anyone who has gone through the process so my main source of information would some websites. I’ve been doing some research on this and I came across bioidentical hormone replacement. It seems this the much preferred way now. I have read so many horror stories about HRT that I am actually scared to go through menopause myself. But with the bioidentical hormone replacement, those bad effects of HRT may not happen because it focuses more on restoring blood levels of hormones that younger people have. This something I will definitely consider if and when the effects of menopause becomes too much for me.
