Almost Over....

I can't believe the weekend is almost over here. It's been a very busy one again for hubby. He's working through the weekend so it's just the little one and me at home. He's still at work and just like yesterday, he'd probably be home just before the little one goes to bed. I can't wait until this job they're working on is shipped already.

Since our weather here is great, I went to the backyard to take a look around. What do you know....it's full of weeds. I hate seeing them so I started pulling out what I could and guess what? I'm sore all over now! I can barely get off the couch.

So that's how our weekend has been. How about yours?

weeds, weeds,weeds. grabe na yan ha. I bet you need a hot soak with epsom salt. sabi nila, that is good for sore muscles.

Here we are, another Monday na naman :)

How did you weekend go? Hubby worked his butt off seeding our lawn since it was seriously bald and ugly. I hope they grow :)

Ours was fine. As usual, Dana worked so hard on our yard again. He wasn't able to do that 2 weekends ago because it snowed here in GA. For Daniel and I...We slept, ate then play together most of time... :)

Sobrang sipag mo naman kasi e. Ayan tuloy pagod ka ng todo..
We were out as usual last weekend. It's not an outing though. We were in San Fernando, Pamp. visiting someone in a hospital, fetched her and drove her home.
Monday was a lousy day. I slept the whole day.
Quite back to normal now..

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
