Stretching the Dollar
This weekend, we went to go look at some trees and plants. We’ve been planning in working on the front yard for the longest time and we’re hoping we can do this very soon. The husband actually went first yesterday. He found the trees he wanted but guess what? They are a hundred bucks [yes $100] a piece. I just about fell off the chair I was sitting on when he told me. So today we decided to go to another place. Well, the prices are almost the same as what he found yesterday. I guess we don’t have a choice but to buy them. We just need to do it little by little instead of getting them all at the same time. We may also need to stretch the dollar some more to save some.
It seems that’s basically the case for everybody today. If we’re not trying to put off buying some stuff that can wait, we try to cut corners or stretch the dollar. I for one does not stop looking, well, more like, hunting for cheaper services. Who wouldn’t want to pay less for the same service, right? Being fed up with the present provider is also another reason I tend to keep looking. This weekend, that’s basically what happened…we’re fed up with our service provider. So I spent a good part of my weekend checking out different places like HUGHES NET.
