Haiti...now Chile?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The number '8' is considered by many a lucky number so much so that the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Beijing began on 8/8/08 at 8 seconds and 8 minutes past 8 pm (local time).
Today, such is not the case. A huge earthquake with a magnitude of 8.8 hit Chile early this morning. It's only been over a month since another huge earthquake [magnitude of 7] hit Haiti which killed hundreds of thousands of people...and now this?
What is happening? Tsunami warnings are being issued to places along the Pacific and that includes the Philippines. I haven't read anything about the Philippines being warned about it but there is a possibility. Hawaii already sounds ssunami sirens preparing people out there for a potentially damaging tsunami. SCARY!
Anyway, let's pray that the tsunami they're predicting to happen as a result of this massive earthquake won't claim anymore lives. Hopefully, people near the Pacific coast will heed the warning and move to safer grounds until the 'coast is clear' [no pun intended].
Hi Ate J!
I've been seeing posts from my friends that there have been warnings issued in some cities near the coast in the Philippines.
But recently they have predicted that the tsunami won't hit the philippines but it it will hit japan and hawaii... that's what they said.
yeah its really scary how mother nature bites back.
