Time to Say...

No matter how busy I am...I will always find the time to say that! Tee hee.....

Yep, another day to celebrate. It's been a busy but nevertheless exciting week.

Busy. Work has been consistent for weeks now and it's still coming. I am hoping I will be able to come up with a more predictable schedule in the coming weeks. Unpredictability is the name of the game for me when it comes to my work-at-home jobs. It's just the way it is so I'm always excited when work flow somehow becomes steady. It means a few weeks [or even months] of "stability" as far as scheduling is concerned.

Exciting. After months, maybe even a year or so, of searching, I was finally able to locate old friends from my college dormitory...Pope Pius XII Catholic Center Ladies' & Men's Dorm. I even wrote about it more than a week ago here. We have an FB group that was started by a former dorm mate. There's more than a hundred members already. I guess I'm not the only who had wonderful memories about the place. Anyway, it's really nice to reconnect with old friends again. I'm still waiting to hear from some who haven't been online since I became a member.

That's my week in a nut shell. I am looking forward to a relaxed and fun weekend around here.

L-O-S-T. I guess that about sums up how I'm feeling right now...with blogging anyway. I don't even know how to start this post. 😕 It's been almost 2 years since I last posted. It's not that I have nothing to write about. I have plenty but I seem to have lost interest in blogging. I thought  at first that it was just a phase. Simple Life....

When we visited my family in 2012 we didn't actually spend as much time as I would have liked with most of them. That's because we planned a road trip which took most of our time. Since we were on the road majority of the stay, we weren't able to spend as much time in my childhood home. During our recent trip, that's exactly what we did. We spent a lot of time in my childhood home. We actually stayed home too much that we got bored after a while. But it was somehow an 'eye opener' for me as well as my significant other. On his part, he was finally able to experience 'real summer' back there. Both trips happened in April. But since we were in an air-conditioned car most of the time during our 2012 trip, we didn't really feel how hot it was. This time around, the air-con was only in our room. As soon as we stepped outside, it's hot. As a result, the AC in our room stayed on the whole day because it served as a reprieve from the heat. Every time

Finally finished the project I started a couple of months ago...at least. Now I'm a happy [and a bit sore] camper. I finished putting the mulch this morning mainly because I don't want to give the weeds another chance to invade the flower beds again...at least for a few months anyway. I think I had to pull out weeds twice before to prepare them for the mulch. I thought hubby would have the chance to put it down but his work just wouldn't let him so I decided to do it myself a few weeks ago. So why did it take me weeks to finish 2 and a half flower beds? I was just taking my time I guess. There was no hurry so I took my time. Now that I'm done with that 'project' I'm off to continue another one that I started about 2 weeks ago...decluttering my home office. The weather here is as unpredictable as...the weather? Last week it was raining almost everyday as predicted by the meteorologists around here. The time the rain would fall was the unpredictable part tho
